PUBLIC NOTICE

Kane DuPage Soil & Water Conservation District (KDSWCD) is an independent, special purpose, governmental agency with a mission to promote the sustainable use of natural resources through responsible stewardship. KDSWCD is the administrator of a grant by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) to maintain and update the Illinois Urban Manual (IUM).

KDSWCD is seeking professional engineering and consulting services to assist with the development of technical standards. Proposals should include, but are not limited to, research, design, and cost estimation that are necessary to prepare such technical standards for the IUM as described in these Request for Proposals (RFPs).

Timeline

• Release RFP – October 1, 2026
• Questions about RFP due – October 9, 2026
• Deadline for submission of proposals – October 30, 2026 at 4:30 pm
• Proposal evaluation complete – November 6, 2026
• Contract awarded – November 20, 2026
• Work complete – June 30, 2027
